She's an English Bull Terrier and Joe's best friend, but she also looks after him when he needs it.

Joe and Dusty are best friends.
They love to run and play together and have adventures, just like any child and dog who love each other.
But that's not all, because Dusty helps Joe with some of his special needs.
When Joe feels anxious or worried, Dusty helps him. When Joe feels nervous, unsure or upset, Dusty helps him.
Most of the time they just enjoy being together and having fun, but she's always there to make him feel OK.
